it will cost them a lot. like buying licenses. developing os from scratch. many app developer need to develop and optimize their apps to android and samsung os also. they had bada os in past but it wasn't much successful.
Samsung won't be doing free screen replacement. same thing happened with my 2 friends they had to pay full amount. it's a software related bug which affects hardware.
went to service center for same reason they say you need to change the back cover which will cost you 2700. I asked them to use different color of back panel still they disagree.
