same thing happened with me.they should do it free of cost but i dont know why they very much reluctant to do so. The fault is from there side and they should admit it and replace the screen without any out of pocket expenditure.
I also filed the case on whatspp.waiting for there there reply.I went to service center and they created the job id regarding line issue. There were no physical damage or dent on my phone. I hope they will replace the screen free of cost.
