Photos taken in 2015 with Galaxy Note Edge...Awsome Phone...Didn't require replacement untill 2 months ago when I upgraded from Note Edge to Note 10+...
Maybe you can try to take a backup on a computer using smart switch in beta version and try to restore data after rollback. chances are there that you might get back your data...And pls keep us post if it works. it may be helpful for others as well.....
