I am experiencing a similar problem and have tried wiping the cache as well as performing a factory reset, there hasn't been any improvement so it seems it's an issue with this software update.
I'm on a note9 exynos variant and my batter life has depleted after the update I have tried wiping the cache and even went as far as to reset the phone to little success. Not sure what to do now
