I'm gonna switch to a lower end phone for sometime as I have lost trust and good amount of money too, my phone was just 1.5yrs old. If you want a high end phone, go for iPhone. It's much more reliable, I used it for 4 yrs before switching to S9.
I'm not sure. Can be hardware too, the screen also flickers sometimes at low brightness. Do you face any such issue? It happens especially after I run graphics test through recovery.
