It simply can't handle the charging speed above 40 it risks damage the battery thats why it goes in to slow charging mode i put my hone on a ice pack and plug it in and it charges fine.
Room Temperature it self is 36 degrees here so while charging it goes above 40 and samsung cut offs fast charging at 40. so put your phone on a ice pack to charge and it ill be fine.
