never used pen for pics clicking. Same you could do from samsung watch or ring . I mean I used pen for sketching and marking writing quick memo and editing pics.
check my last pic under heavy sun shine. My frds other brand phone was howing shadow on the face and not ideal pic to post. Mine balance the light maintain actual colors.
