yup this is frustrating and Samsung gives some standard robotic reply that is simply useless

i did clear the cache but not tried a factory reset because I have to reinstall all the apps and configure them again post reset

i don't understand without much of apps or games how it could drastically change or reduce battery life and screen never used to be at this high

it used to last for around a day before this patch update I did in May

battery usage shows screen at 27% and Android system at 13% though screen brightness is set to less than half
