Well my gear S3 lasts about 2.5 days.. The galaxy watch might last an additional 2 days. The RAM is not really a factor since it's a watch and doesn't really do any heavy computing.

Might as well get gear S3 frontier and save some money. Basically the same as Galaxy watch

The AOD brightness varies automatically using the ambient light sensor. Haven't had any issues with it on S7 and now S9+
