Got the update today for my S24 Plus which was on Ui7 beta. The update was around 300mb only. Looks like for beta users it won't be 5gb as most of the components are already there in your phone. They are installing some patches. Thats it.
So this is what Samsung meant with the promose of 7 year update. The update meant for 2024 will be released in 2025 and other one in 2027 and so on...thats how they will provide 7 years coverage. Better to switch to Pixel phones.
