I have been using my Watch4 44mm BT variant for 3 years now.
After the recent update the screen went orange with a burnin at the top of the screen, where the time usually shows up.

Attached image.

Visited Service centre and they quoted approximately 8,000/- INR for screen replacement with 3 months warranty.

I am not sure if I should invest this much in the screen replacement and also is it going to last at least a year.

I am an active person with daily workouts, just to give an idea of the watch usage for my case.

If anyone faced the same thing or any idea on what should be done, please let me know.

Thanks in advance

It is a common issue. Display is gone. Pl get it changed from the service centre or get a new watch. 😊

I will suggest you to get a new watch 6 or 7

It was the sep/oct 2024 update, I think. Though I am not very sure if the update caused this.

Edit

It the March update. Was not updated for me.

I just checked my watch details in phone and yes, it seems the march update.

Usually, i keep my gadgets updated, but it seems like I missed this one and updated it recently.

Better spend more ₹5k-6k and get watch 6.As during sale Watch 6 comes down to 13k-14k always
