WearablesHi,
I had purchased a watch active 2 4G on the 30th of January 2020. All of a sudden, its back sensor cover came off, and fell somewhere.
Since the morning, I have been visiting Authorized Service Centres and they all claim its a case of physical damage. My watch is in pristine condition, with not a scratch in place-I wonder how they have come to that deduction! All this so that they can claim that the repair is not covered under warranty.
It seems just like a flimsy excuse (not as flimsy as the build quality though!). How in heaven's name is someone supposed to swim with this watch is beyond me.
Its a known issue with multiple forums on us sites claiming customers are facing this issue, but Samsung seems to be hiding behind their own faults. I dont have the back cover-excuse me but when I pay a bomb for a product, I dont keep checking to see what has fallen out!
Requested the Service Centre to raise a Q&A, in which the watch would go to Samsung for indeed ruling out physical damage, but they outrightly refused, claiming it bodes negatively for them.
Can I expect any help? Or atleast an address where I can courier the watch-the powers that be can keep it as gift from me!
