I think my heart rate monitor is not working properly. It is giving reading more than what it should show. I've tried resetting it but it didn't work.πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

Are you talking about continuous or user initiated hr reading. Also can you tell the value of hr which it displays.

no I'm talking about user initiated hr reading. it's showing almost 98 to around 100 in even resting condition. I think that can't be true.

Did you try it on another arm? If you have a phone with heart rate sensor can you measure your pulse with it and confirm?

Don't depend on heart rate sensor present in the phone. It won't be accurate. There will be some errors in reading as measuring the heart rate with medical equipments and mobile sensors varies a lot.
