Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

We regret to hear about your experience with our product. Please believe that this is not a usual occurrence.

Please perform the below-mentioned troubleshooting steps, these may help in resolving your concern.

● Kindly reset the buds once: Galaxy Wearable App >General > Reset.

● Follow these tips if you facing - Poor sound during calls.

● See if Ambient sound mode or Noise cancelling is on. Ambient sound mode allows you to hear sounds in the background while you are on a phone call. You could potentially hear a lot of background noise while talking. You should turn off the Ambient sound mode to prevent this.

However, if you have the Galaxy Buds Pro, you should turn on Active noise cancelling, which will prevent background noise from getting through.

● Check the direction of each earbud. When you insert the earbuds into your ears, make sure the wing tips are facing upwards until they sit comfortably. Then, rotate the earbuds left or right for a snug fit.

The Buds Live does not have wing tips. Please see the next step for information on how to wear them properly.

● Make sure you are wearing the earbuds correctly. Check that you are wearing your earbuds properly. This will differ depending on the model.

● Check your Bluetooth range between the earbuds and your phone.

Make sure to use the earbuds and your device within 30 feet of each other. The distance may vary depending on the environment and your earbud model.

Avoid using the device near obstructions that can block the Bluetooth signal, such as walls, routers, electrical equipment, or electromagnetic waves.

● Adjust the volume settings on your phone. You can increase the sound on your phone using the Volume Up key. If the volume is set to max but the sound output is low, it is probably because the phone and earbuds have two separate volume controls.

To control the volume on the earbuds themselves, you will need to set up touchpad commands. You should also should check the media volume limiter settings.

● Check the earbuds' battery status. If they have a low battery, it may be necessary to charge the earbuds. You can check the battery level in the Galaxy Wearable app.

Alternatively, you can insert the earbuds in the case to check the battery life. Depending on your earbuds, the charging case indicator light will be located on the front or rear of the case.

● Inspect the earbuds for dirt and damage.
*Be sure to regularly clean the earbuds. The build-up of dust, earwax, or other debris in the microphone can also make you sound muffled.
*Check the air ducts and speakers to make sure they are clean.
*Inspect for a cracked or lifted case, and broken, bent, or loose parts.
*If you see obvious damage, cracks, or small chips on the earbuds, this means that the earbuds have suffered from an external impact. This can impair the earbuds and their functions.
*The earbuds are not impervious to water damage in any situation. Exposure to water, liquids, or chemicals can cause damage or issues with the earbuds.
*Note: Damaged products are not covered under warranty. You will need to buy a replacement if the earbuds or case is damaged. Visit Samsung.com to purchase a pair of earbuds.

● Restart your phone, and then the earbuds. To restart your phone, press and hold the Power key or Side key. Tap Power off, and then tap Power off again. After the phone has shut down completely, press the Power or Side key again to restart it. Next, restart your earbuds if possible.

● Check for software updates for the earbuds. You can check for software updates through the Galaxy Wearable app or through a PC.

In case the issue still occurs, please visit the service center for a physical inspection of your device. You can locate your nearest service center with this given link: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/service-center/
