Galaxy Watch 4 LTE no incoming sms with Jio sim

I just purchased a galaxy watch 4(44mm) LTE.I tried setting up LTE from my non-samsung phone(Xiaomi) and didn't worked just like this guy shared on his[Pixel Phone](https://www.reddit.com/r/GalaxyWatch/comments/r051wa/update_and_fix_galaxy_watch_4_lte_on_nonsamsung)

So,i followed the same process,put that sim in my uncle's samsung phone and added a mobile plan of Jio(moble service provider)on my watch and it worked.Then i Reset(software reset only) the watch.After that i removed sim and added in my Xiaomi phone and set up Watch normally and skipped the mobile plan step during setup proccess.The watch has retained the mobile plan and worked exactly same as connected to samsung phone.Everything is working fine,VoLTE incoming/outgoing calls and outgoing sms but incoming sms is not working.I still receive incoming sms on my Xiaomi phone which have my physical sim,but not on watch.

I am not sure is there any grace period of 24-72 hrs to receive sms after adding a mobile plan in watch.I contacted Jio customer support and as expected they had no clue how it works,they said the cellular plan only works with samsung phones.Also i explained them the process of activating plan in samsung phone and then reset and setting up watch with Xiaomi phone and they couldn't understand how it works.

So,if you guys have any clue,please let me know.Specially peoples from India,if you have setup LTE in your watch with samsung or non-samsung phones with Jio,is your incoming sms working.

Well I am using an Watch 4 44mm LTE (Jio) version with my Redmi Note 8 pro in India but I am receiving my SMS on my watch as well. Make sure that you have not changed the default SMS app on your Watch to Google Messages(if you have done so then change your mobile's default SMS app as well).

If you are using the default SMS app, then try resetting the watch and repeat the process for setting up LTE on your watch as stated by you. This might help.

Are you receiving sms only when connected with phone via bluetooth(directly connected)/wifi(remotely connected) OR alone as if you are using different device without any connection(bluetooth/wifi) directly  on LTE(Jio) ?
