Samsung expands ECG and blood pressure tracking support in Galaxy Watch Active2, Galaxy Watch 3 to 31 more countries

Last year, Samsung introduced the ability to measure Blood pressure and track an Electrocardiogram (ECG) on the Galaxy Watch Active2 and Galaxy Watch 3 for their customers in South Korea. They have now received the required certification to expand the feature support to 31 more countries.

The Samsung Heath monitor, which is the companion app required to measure the blood pressure and track ECG, previously had certification to operate in Korea. The company has since then received a CE-marking in December 2020, which allows Samsung to enable the two features in 28 EU countries and with 3 other countries.

The list of newly supported of countries include:

  • Croatia
  • Czech Republic
  • Denmark
  • Estonia
  • Finland
  • France
  • Germany
  • Greece
  • Hungary
  • Iceland
  • Indonesia
  • Ireland
  • Italy

  • Netherlands
  • Norway
  • Poland
  • Portugal
  • Romania
  • Slovakia
  • Slovenia
  • Spain
  • Sweden
  • Switzerland
  • UAE
  • United Kingdom

In these countries, users can use the new features with either the Galaxy Watch Active2 or Galaxy Watch 3, download the Samsung Health Monitor app.
