I have galaxy j6 phone. But after upadation to android 10. Its data saver option does not working. After turing data saver on i still getting notifications of the applications

i think you did not have used it before.. data saver stops the data for apps running in background so it does not put notifications of all the app that are using internet..like whats app facebook youtube etc

data saver helps cut down data usage by preventing apps from using data in the background...there is no connection of it with app notifications where it's under notifications or system ui notifications only ...who are using first time rectified that 🤣🤣🤣 stop running in backwards doesn't mean that someone will not get notification of that apps where notification is already on to receive

if i am not using whats app and data saver is on for whats app..if it is not using mobile data then how i will recieve notification of whats app..got it ?🤣

Please be assured and to resolve the issue kindly follow the given below steps:-


1. Check device in safe mode:- Press and hold the Power key, when Power off icon appears >Press and hold the power off icon.
Exit safe mode: Hold the power button and select restart on the device.


2. Reset the device:- Settings >General Management > Tap on Reset.
Note: Before reset make sure to have back up of the data via Smart Switch Mobile App
(Install Smart Switch App > Open > Click on Memory Card Icon >Back Up option > Choose the data for Back up > Back Up).


If the issue still persist, kindly register your concern in Samsung Members app (Samsung Members app > Get help > Feedback > Error report/ask question).
Note: Please send device log files within 15 minutes of issue occurrence along with the exact issue details.
