Portrait mode on s8

Is samsung even listening to its customers? We want Live focus or portrait mode on our s8. If other companies can do it with single camera why biggest Android manufacturer is facing the problem and wants to loose its customers?
Whats the point of this forum if our expectations are not met.

Samsung stopped production of S8 long ago. They will not go out of the way to provide something even the small S9 doesn't have

that's something which S8 never carried in the first place. am not advocating this phone. but when you go to buy a specific commodity you would appreciate that it has certain features and it doesn't have other ones. Samsung could have been criticized in this case if they ever committed that they will give this feature and then they didn't

in this case, my view is Samsung didn't give this feature because they did not want to in this phone

am sure there would be host of features which Samsung S 10 would've which S9 & S9 would'nt have..
