why auto restart?

I can see that restarting the phone once in a while is good for the device and I came through this auto restart option in the settings and set it for 5 am on random auto restart days but for some reason I had to change the time and interval to 6 p.m. and for my surprise it  never doesn't auto restart.

Why?

no bro it's not like that ... the funda is it will only work if your device is in totally resting condition

ya it's working in my device..but remember it can anytime within 1 hours of schedule time not instantly
