I can tell you from personal experience with this phone that this is an issue which goes away with time. I think the phone learns the usage and lighting patterns and this issue lessen with time. I have been using M51 for more than a month now and this issue is not happening anymore. Initially this issue was very frequent and gradually reduced with time.
