I keep it simple- for professional use- mac, reason- globally recognised and accepted specially for media creators. Awesome display with accurate color and super neutral sound output, power efficient, fast, sync in same co system is too good and small setup factor.
Where windows- two same screen show diff colours, hangs a lot... Ram management is too poor. Hangs a lot.. easily crakeable.. application experience is very thrid class... Eco system naam ki koi chiz nai h ..!!

Since u r asking abt OS only:😊

:If you've money to throw, buy Mac OS is fluid/smooth better Ram management, good default apps, reliable n used for music production, video content making etc.
Cons: it's a closed ecosystem, needs apple devices, needs apple certified accessories etc.
Conclusion : if money grows on trees for you, buy Mac / Apple products.

Windows: Flexible, you can take a game from 1995 it would still work provided uve drivers etc, lots of different apps for every thing, most of the accesories would work, when it comes to games there are lots of options.
Cons: if not enough ram it'll drive u crazy, need good processor for content creation etc, need proper antivirus otherwise dark net people would try to sell you😂🤭

Both have different following as per the need... Choose best which suits your requirement. I prefer Mac os..!!

Bro, m using Imac and mac book pro since 2015 and trust me, whatever i do, i haven't faced any issues... A little heat is okey but still better'then hang or re-start which can cause data loss and duration of output.
