A functionality that enables you to have the comfort of having to make or recieve calls seamlessly with or without an adequate cellular connection. The 1st one to bring that in India is our very own Airtel which later on observed a surge of upto 1.4 million customers pf WiFi Calling in just a few months time.
The WiFi Calling comes handy many a times and even more so when you live in a flat which tends to drop cellular connection in a particular room(I was a victim of it as well). But since the WiFi calling took over ,my experience just shifted the opposite sides.
The best way to get the most of Vo-WiFi Calling is to enable it with the VoLTE function so that if you move too far for the WiFi to catch you up ,your smartphone transits seamlessly from your WiFi network to the VoLTE.
