Updating through smart switch.

Hey how many of you use smart switch to update your phone? Does it really have any advantage?

If yes can anyone explain the process please?

I did a reddit search and it seems no one uses smart switch to update phone these days.

Smart switch is mainly used when ur phone is unable to fetch the update file for reasons unknown n it downloads the whole OS right to ur phone just like in the case of ur phone getting bricked or major OS related issues. So those people with such devices might use smart switch to update.
Athreullu advantage I guess.

No 😅 I don't have a pc/laptop
And 2nd reason update size is too large🤔 if we update through smart switch
