1. Tips to resolve call-dropping:
Disable All call forwarding by typing ##002# on your keypad,
then tapping the call button. On confirmation you will see Message 'MMI code started'.
Then , you will see another message- 'Call forwarding
All
Erasure was successful'
This should enable outgoing calls & stop call-dropping.
One main reason for Call-dropping is that someone has hacked into your phone & your outgoing calls are landing at hacker’s phone number/end. Hacker may've done it to get info on you.
Ensure also that your network is connected properly by using following steps:
Go to settings ->Connections -> Mobile networks -> enable 'VoLTE calls', tap on 'Network mode' & enable 'LTE/3G/2G (autoconn..)' & not the '3/2G (autoconn..) if your palmtop/handset has these network mode options as is the case with Samsung M30 which is a 4G palmtop/handset. Enable the correct option as per you SIM.

2.Tips to enable SMS services:
First, find out MESSAGE centre number of your SIM/phone number for area in which it's registered. Then Go to MESSAGES app, tap on three dots on upper hand right corner-> settings -> More settings -> Text messages -> check 'Message centre' numbers.
Tap the 'Message centre,' then type in Correct Message centre number if your Message centre has wrong number & then save it as shown in following sample screenshots:
Message centre numbers for different service providers keep getting updated.
If Airtel is your service provider & your palmtop/phone number is registered in Kerala area, then +919898051916 is your Message SMS Centre number for Kerala. If 'Message centre' has wrong Message SMS Centre number, then you will be unable to receive or send SMS messages from your palmtop/handset.
