We feel our galaxy users deserve more and now, with the revamped mobile hotspot (Fig.1), you can:

1.  Monitor the data shared using the mobile hotspot.

Data dashboard lets you monitor daily, weekly and monthly data consumption (Fig.2, Fig.3 and Fig.4) by mobile hotspot. This should help you plan data sharing better and make use of your data more efficiently

2.  Set time limits for connected devices (Fig.5)

This control feature will help you set how long any device can stay connected to your hotspot device. This can be a great tool for you to restrict kids’ screen time.

3.  Set data limits for connected devices (Fig.5)

Here you can set data limits for every individual connected device. Setting such limits will make sure your end-of-day meeting or football match does not suffer due to data exhaustion by connected devices.

4.  Pause data sharing of any connected device (Fig.5)

Some situations arise when we want to stop some device from drawing data. You can pause the data sharing for such devices using the setting for that connected device.

5. One-time password (Fig.6) for sharing data with guests

The one-time password lets any device connect to the hotspot for just the present session.

Once the hotspot session expires, the password changes and the connected device will no longer be able to connect to your device using the same password.
