If my phone damage(like color line in screen, heating issue, etc..) after software update then who is responsible for that? 
I am confused.

By operation of laws Samsung is responsible for this above-mentioned issue if not any physical or liquid damage on the device and it's occurred due to only after update. Most of time they refuse...if are you in the warranty period then you can scape else what you will do? Buy extra insurance? Or if you leave that you invest that money for 1 yr.

In paperwise Samsung of course. But if you expired the warranty period then Samsung usually refuse to change it display free of cost

Thats the point , if I buy S24 Ultra then invested more the 1 lakh for 1 Yr after that any thing happened(SW update) you need to invest again.
