Tech TalkSamsung also knows that exynos is inferior than snapdragon. And I'm not talking about the exy990. literally all the exynos processors after S7 sucked. Samsung knows this clearly and and still does all of this and the sole reason of doing so: money.
Btw, exynos 1000 was meant to be better than the sd 875, but Qualcomm played here. With Samsung itself producing the Sd875 chipset, theyll make sure not to miss this deal and the superiority of exynos 1000 over 875 would be a threat to the same. So, exynos 1000 will be underperformed knowingly just to make sure it dosent destroy sd 875 and the Samsung Qualcomm deal, as they did with the Sd 865 on the note20u.

Tech TalkIn every other areas, they make more money as making their own processors is always cheaper. So, at the end it all comes down to 'making more profit'. And when I said exynos sucked, I meant when they're compared with their SD counterparts. And thats the truth. After the S7, all the exynos processors were weaker than snapdragon. Even if they're still 'good', Im still getting an inferior product by paying the same money. Plus the heat throttling was there due to the custom mongoose cores.
So, even if exynos processors were 'good' they didnt compare to SD when it came to optimization and gaming, and thats the truth. The bitter truth.
Also, if Samsung can underclock the Sd865+ on the sd note20u just to make sure the gap between the exynos and sd version isnt too big, they can do the same with exy1000 and Sd875.
Also, @Sanskar, the antutu benchmarks of A14 cannot be fully trusted rn as antutu has some optimization issues with ios. Not saying this as an 'isheep' but just because the fact that apple was gonna use the A14X chipset in their upcoming macbooks. So, for sure they'd have made the processor much better than the previous one. Dont get me wrong, Id be happy if exynos 1000 is better than the Sd875 and the A14. That would mean less monopoly and would definitely benefit the end user.
