The Mic won't work (of Type C headphones) if you have 3.5mm jack in your phone.

If you want good audio quality for the price, I would recommend iems like "Moon drop Chu" or "7hz zero" from headphones zone for this price. If you want well known brands, go for "sony mdr xb55 ap" or get Sennheiser cx180/275, if available.
All of these will give MUCH better audio quality than the type c headset from Akg. (IMO even the oppo enco 2 tws at 2k has similar Audio quality to that of type c akg).

Nb: all the above ones are available around 2k or less.
