Samsung’s new wireless headsets cause ear inflammation. According to the report from CCTV News, many Korean users have reported that their ears have symptoms such as pus and scabs after wearing Samsung’s new wireless headsets. In response, Samsung said that this product passed international standard tests before entering the market. These tests certified that the products contain no harmful substance in their design. Furthermore, Samsung claims that since the earphones are “in-ear”, sweating or moisture may cause similar problems.
From the reports so far, it appears that the ear inflammation complaints come more from the Galaxy Buds Pro user group. Before now, there have been reports from China that the Galaxy Buds Pro causes blisters and inflammation. Insiders believe that in order to ensure the noise reduction effect, Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro designed the earplugs to be too large. This could probably be stimulating the skin of the ear canal.

In this regard, Samsung confirmed the possibility of discomfort due to the structure of the headset. The company recommends that users regularly clean and disinfect the headset while keeping the ear canal dry.

In addition, according to consumer feedback, ear inflammation may be caused by allergies to the earphone material. Samsung clearly states the earphone build materials on its official website. The ear part uses an acrylate material while the stainless steel part is nickel. If you have allergies to any of these materials, you may want to stay away from Samsung’s buds.

Mine Realme Buds Q have the same issue. The Upper side of the earhole when I put my buds on it hurts only on my left ear. Also causing skin tearing issue so I left using it. Maybe company needs to be precausious about this and hereby fix this issue ASAP

I purchased my Galaxy Earbud Pro headphones about 2 weeks ago. I ended up getting weird bumps in my ears. That blistered and peeled and were oozing. I stopped using the earbuds and  I used some antibiotic gel and it seemed to be cleared up.  Tonight I thought after a week Id try them again and within 5 minutes of having the right one in my inner ear swelled up so much that I couldn't even get a q-tip in to clean the wetness that was oozing out.  Ear hurts and my eardrum keeps creaking.  Will be calling my Dr. in the morning.  Im highy disappointed as these cost quite a bit out of my budget to not be able to use them. 😔

I have the same issue, try them last night and now my ears are sore, swollen and have **bleep** drainage.  Using these ear Buds is not healthy and may lead have long term affects. I am send my ear Buds to a local lab to have the materials analyzed. I have reached out to o few law firms that hand class action lawsuits.

Yes even I got the same issue. I wore them for just an hour and got puss in ears that was oozing out and they were itching badly. So, had to stop using them. When I googled this issue I found thousands of people from all over the world with the same issue and so many articles about it too. But the irony is when I called customer care they blatantly told me that they haven't received any complaints like this ( which is very strange). They were like we'll take your feedback but we can't do anything about it. Really really disappointed and feel like going on social media and alerting everyone to not but Galaxy Buds Pro.
