Samsung began phasing out its Samsung Messages app in the US since the Galaxy S22 series and instead ships its new devices with Google Messages as the default RCS/SMS app. That will be the case with the brand new Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6 foldables which are confirmed to launch without the Samsung Messages app in the US.
According to a post from the Samsung Members app (via 9to5Google), Samsung’s new foldables will have Google Messages as their default SMS/RCS app and will not come pre-installed with Samsung Messages. Users can still download and and use the Samsung Messages app from the Galaxy Store.
Starting with Flip6, Fold6, and newer models, the Samsung Messages app will no longer be preloaded. Instead, Google Messages will provide a new and enhanced experience to express your emotions, making communication safe and fun. You can also exchange messages with users around the world. - Samsung
Samsung Messages is still expected to be pre-loaded on units sold outside of the US. For what it’s worth our European Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6 review units have both Samsung Messages and Google Messages apps.

To summarize:
1. it feels like samsung wants to kill its own inventions. Few years back, in Galaxy S4 series samsung message app offer a lot more features like message scheduling, sending images to samsung users.
2. Samsung has always stayed ahead of competitor's in terms of innovation and ideas. But, all of sudden samsung wants to kill it own innovation 💡.
3. Samsung should know that Samsung message app can do lot more that just sms and so samsung should innovate the samsung message app rather than decommissioning it.
@Samsung member please suggest innovation and ideas which we can add to samsung messages app. I will take it to samsung management and development team.
One such innovation is
1. Reminder to pay bills as per deadline mentioned in the SMS.
2. Amazon and Flipkart parcel shipment tracking and parcel out for delivery reminder.
3. Reminder to text happy birthday as per calendar.
4. As per personal sms, Reminder for personal discount on movie and flight ticket while booking flight.
5. Hands free sms sending to contact.
There is lot more to innovate. We want samsung message app to be innovate and used in Samsung ecosystem.
