Dear Samsung Members Community, I'm Speaking as Someone Who Can't See Your Images. I use my Mobile and PC through Screen Readers such as TalkBack, Prudence Screen Reader, NVDA and Microsoft Narrator etc.
As a person with visual impairment (blind), I rely heavily on image description to understand the visuals you share. I often encounter posts with generic descriptions like "image". This leaves me completely in the dark.
Imagine trying to understand a complex graph, a detailed infographic, or a nuanced photograph with only "image" as your guide. It's not just frustrating; it's exclusionary.
I'm asking for your help in making Samsung Members Community more accessible. Please, take a few extra moments to write detailed and descriptive alt text (Image Description).
Here's what makes a difference:

 * Be Specific: Instead of "image," try "A line graph showing a steady increase in sales over the last quarter."

 * Provide Context: "Photo of people" becomes "A group of diverse colleagues collaborating around a table, engaged in a lively discussion."

 * Describe Key Elements: "Image of landscape" becomes "A panoramic view of a mountain range at sunset, with warm orange hues reflecting off the snow-capped peaks."

 * Don't Repeat Generic Text: Every image is different, therefore the alt text should be.

Your detailed descriptions open up a world of information that would otherwise be inaccessible. It's not just about compliance; it's about respect and inclusion.

Let's work together to make Samsung Members Community a platform where everyone can fully participate.
