Many Samsung users complaint that Samsung doesn't give fast charging to its phones. Even S23 Ultra has only 45 W charging.
I don't know the exact reason for it, but I can say that Samsung is doing it right. Because Fast charging damages battery life very very fast. Many phones now come with 120 W and even 240 W. It's obviously very bad for their battery life.

Samsung does it good by giving lower Watts charging speed. If Samsung give fast charging, many users will start complaining about their battery life πŸ˜…
Good Job Samsung 😊

Controversial because some people like me will agree with your take
Some may not. Not everyone afford to wait 1hr to get their phone charge to full. Giving support of higher charging speed isn't bad. They are not giving adapters to users so we will have choice of choosing speed.
Ex:- let's say the give support of 120W and supported adapters are 15,25,45,65 and 120W.
Now you can take balance between good battery life and charging speed and choose whatever you want

FYI - Samsung is internally testing faster charging speed of >65 w. Their transformer component supplier also recently introduced it. So we can obviously expect Samsung to launch within next 2 years!

That is true though! 45w is already fast enough charging 5000mah in 1 hour. 65w will be more than enough. 100w+ charging is an overkill for many users!
