I prefer other UPI apps over Samsung Wallet.
Because, Samsung Wallet lacks some credibility.

• The transaction failed, and they took about 4 days to REFUND my money!
• In this case the amount was low (₹100), so it didn't bothered me. What if the Amount was Huge, like ₹50,000?!
Note: Present UPI transaction limit is ₹2,00,000.00 [₹ 2 Lakh]
• So, Using an Unreliable app can lead to "Temporary halt" of 2 Lakh Rupees (Max.)
• Temporary halt: In this case 4 Days

Money was stuck for about 4 Days.

Issues with Samsung Wallet:
1. Success rate of Transaction is LOW
2. Takes so much time to resolve an Issue
3. Ads: This app shows so many ads (of Samsung's & partners' other products. i.e. Bills, PayTm, Confirm ticket, etc)
4. Money should be refunded within minutes, irrespective of Amount value.
5.

yes that is true sometimes it says unsuccessful. But I like samsung wallet like it stores your documents and tickets and set a reminder automatically that's great.

Hi ,

1. For failed transactions Usually refund time-line is 7 working days for most banks and banking apps, but Usually refunded within 3 to 5 days.

2. As you are aware about transaction limits etc so i expect that you know that amount does not matter in case of refund.

3. The auto reversal depends upon the beneficiary bank not on the upi app. All upi apps are working under same framework .

Hope it helps.

Successful transaction rate of other apps are better than Samsung Wallet.

We all know that, After a failed transaction, the money will be refunded for sure.
May be in 4 days or in 7 days.

But, here the main issues are:
1. After a failed transaction, the money become useless/unavailable/stuck for 4/7 days.
In case of Huge amount, user becomes helpless.

2. If the transaction was successful in the first place, then no one will become helpless in the first place.

That's why, I don't prefer Samsung Wallet.

1. Other apps has a good success rate. Means, almost no failed transaction == no need to refund == no waiting.
2. Other apps, in most cases , don't debit money from account, it will declare that "Failed transaction" - before deducting the money.. means, no refund needed.
