Today i checked Google messages app with RCS feature enabled and it worked great on my galaxy s9 with jio network. It's like a charm as we can send uncompressed images and other documents without a need of any third party apps bt unfortunately i could not use this feature on Samsung messages app although there's a toggle to switch on chat feature in the messages setting. Does anyone know a way around or is there any information regarding the update or fix?
