Samsung has announced the official rollout of One UI 7 starting April 7, 2025. The update brings AI-driven enhancements, a redesigned interface, and new customization options. It will first be available for the Galaxy S series, Galaxy Z series and Galaxy Tab S devices, followed by other Galaxy devices in the coming weeks.
The One UI 7 update will be released for: • Galaxy S series: S24, S24 FE, S23, S23 FE • Galaxy Z series: Z Fold6, Z Flip6, Z Fold5, Z Flip5 • Galaxy Tab series: Tab S10, Tab S9

Availability may vary by region, and Samsung plans to expand support to more devices later.

One UI 7 introduces several AI-powered features and interface improvements: AI Select: Allows users to save videos as GIFs by swiping the Edge Panel. Writing Assist: Helps format and summarize text in messages and documents. Drawing Assist: Enhances sketches with AI-generated suggestions. Audio Eraser: Removes unwanted background noise from videos. Now Bar: Displays real-time updates like music playback and activity progress on the lock screen. Google Gemini integration: Users can search, navigate, and control their devices with natural language voice commands.

bruh they really out here trying to polish a turd—One UI 7 sounding flashy but it’s still samsung at the end of the day… worst company ever, can’t fix basic bugs like buds not working, but out here dropping “AI select” like that’s gonna solve anything lol.

like fr:

AI Select? cool but you still can’t screen record without 5 bugs. Writing Assist? cute, but samsung keyboard already feels like typing on a potato. Audio Eraser? bro, maybe erase the L-quality speakers on their midrange phones instead. Now Bar? why tf do we need a new bar when the whole UI still lags on day 1?

also Google Gemini integration? yeah let’s be real—samsung gonna ruin that too, just like they ruin every Android update with their extra bloatware and trash optimization.

plus the rollout always “region dependent” aka 90% users gonna be waiting till July just to get it while the S24 ultra users get a half-baked beta.

you thinking of updating or nah? personally I’d rather root the phone and throw a custom ROM on it than deal with another “One UI” update that just gives more bugs and less battery.
