Maybe your phone's accessibility is turned on or your phone has some virus... You backup your data and factory reset it... if the issue persists, then take it to a Samsung Authorised Service Centre...
Mine have a Samsung Galaxy Tab A7... it also sometimes does like that... If I open a app, after sometime it automatically backs or goes to the home screen... then I restart it then I have no issue, so before resetting your phone, restart your phone first... Maybe that is the solution
