Hi Mates,
This is my second post which tell you the 2nd most interesting feature of OneUI 6.0.
Yeah that one which you have read in the title i.e, Increase Wi-Fi range of your phone which is running on OneUI 6.0. Here are the steps given below:
- First go to settings of your phone then click on Connections
- In Connections menu you will get Wi-Fi option in the top, just click on that and turn on Wi-Fi
If you are facing that most of the low range Wi-Fi Hotspots are not showing in your Samsung phone but showing in other brand's phone then
- Click on 3 dots and then click on Intelligent Wi-Fi, here you will got most of the new options
- Scroll down and click 6-7 times to Intelligent Wi-Fi then you will get one more option in last named, connectivity labs
- Click on that and scroll down then click on 'Customize Wi-Fi list settings'
- Then you will get option at the top from there you can set at 'Show more' or swipe at right side.
- If you want to show band name in Wi-Fi Hotspot then click on second option.
- Set sort by option to High Frequency
After that your device will show available Wi-Fi Hotspots in your area like this
May be you can connect some of them if you know thier password
Bonus Tip
Go to settings/ connections/ Wi-Fi/ Intelligent Wi-Fi/ and turn on 'Show network quality info'
By enabling this, device will also show network speed as Fast or Slow.
I think that, they will help you to get benifit of that features.
