Samsung released its Android 15-based One UI 7 beta for the Galaxy S24 series, which lets you experience a new software version before the stable version. In case you downloaded the One UI 7 beta and want to roll back to the previous version, then here are the easy steps.
Samsung took enough time to release the One UI 7 beta to make it more stable and seems that the company succeeded since no major bug or issue after downloading the beta update came to be known at least until now.
Noticeably, all apps in One UI 7 beta work perfectly fine even including financial applications. But if you still want to roll back to the previous Android 14-based One UI 6.1 stable version, then you can easily do so by just navigating a few easy steps.
To exit the One UI 7 beta program, noticeably, you must first withdraw from the program using the Samsung Members application, and this action will be confirmed by a new splash screen in the application.
- Now click the Settings button placed at the top right corner and select One UI Beta Program status.
- Then hit the Withdraw button placed at the bottom.
- Follow all the on-screen instructions carefully to remove your device from the beta program.
Once you are done you could take a couple of days for your withdrawal request to be processed. You also have to manually roll back to the One UI 6.1 stable version by connecting the computer to your device, launching the Smart Switch, and choosing the “Downgrade” option.
Rolling back to the previous version needs a factory reset, so back up your data beforehand, and once you step out from the beta program you will not be able to join again.
