Notification light on off screen

I have been a Samsung user since past 7 years and my experience has been really great. I have seen Samsung phones flourish from big bezel display till punch hole cameras. One feature that I miss in new Galaxy devices is the NOTIFICATION LIGHT.

The premium bezeled phones used to have a multicolored LED light near the light sensor which is indeed a very good feature that used to be present. But since now the phones have minimalist bezels there is no space for any such light.

What I think that can be done is there should be a feature which can light up screen at a particular place to show notifications of different apps and their respective colours.

I hope my idea might be worth applying...

there is this feature called Edge lighting

which lights up the edge of the screen to show notifications even when screen is off

Yes I agree there is the feature of edge lighting but it is not as much efficient as the notification light itself.

There are no good apps for this purpose

hey buddy good to know that this notification light feature is soon mimicked by a good lock module that will do the same function using the always on display technique 😀
