Fingerprint Sensor not working most of the time 
I've added 3 fingers of mine ... None of them are working perfectly 😑
Device - Note 10 lite
Android Version - 10
One UI - 2.5

I know it sounds very disappointing but could you please delete all the registered fingerprints and do a fresh register again and try.
My sister is using the device and I tried it...I didn't have any problems.
You should try doing a fresh register of Fingerprint or else pls contact Customer care

At last if nthing works then try factory reset and then do while process of registering fingerprints; this will surely solve your problem

Please be assured and to resolve "Fingerprint" issue kindly follow the given below steps:

1. We always recommend to use screen guards form Samsung only. If you are using any 3rd party screen guard/protective film/tempered glass on the phone, kindly try to re-register your fingerprint after removing it by following these steps.
Disable fingerprint settings and then remove the screen guard.
>>>Register a new fingerprint:-Settings> Bio metric and security>Fingerprints>Continue>Set secure screen lock>Start with center.


2. Ensure that the screen protector or the touchscreen on the fingerprint recognition sensor area is not scratched or damaged by objects, such as coins, keys, pens and necklaces.

 

If the issue still persist, kindly register your concern in Samsung Members app (Samsung Members app > Get help > Feedback > Error report) along with the Video or Screen-shots. This will help us to further investigate and resolve your concern.
Note: Please send device log files within 15 minutes of issue occurrence along with the exact issue details.
