Hey samsung,
I was thinking, it would be awesome if you could add a feature to "lock" individual images.
This would be super helpful for keeping certain pictures extra private. This would be very usefull when you pass the phone to someone and they start swiping through other pictures...(people 🙄!!)
Kind of like how you can pin apps, but for specific photos in the gallery app and this would increase the privacy too.
Just a thought!

You can move such images into secure folder. Google my files and Samsung Secure folder are available.

That may be true but very inconvenient.
Imagine moving a single picture to the secure folder just to let a stranger see your dog's photo.
It would be better if they just add a lock feature (like the album lock) and not using any third party apps...
Hope you get what I'm saying🙏

If you get the concept of "pinning one app"...it's pretty much the same thing. Just this time we're pinning a single picture

Pinning is entirely diffrent from what your saying. Pinning means to keep an app open in background. Locking photo and pinning app not same......

Pinning is where you can only use the app pinned. And if you want to switch apps you have to use the password.
Try this...
Go to recent menu > tap any app icon> select "pin this app"
Then try to switch between apps.
You'll get what I'm saying.
And I'm aware of "lock album" feature.
But who would want to move the picture to a separate album just to use that temporarily!!?

If you wish to lock a photo or album just go to gallery settings and press 7 times on gallery version number. A gallery lab icon will openup.it contains locking setting.
