RAM (Random Access Memory) is short-term digital storage. Computers (and yes, your phone is a computer) use RAM mostly to hold data that active applications — along with the CPU and operating system's kernel — are using because RAM is very fast when it comes to reading and writing. every ram have frequency that indicates ram performance speed the simple example is DDR1 ram of 1gb is lower performance because of lower frequency speed same DDR5 is having more loops frequency speed. always remember only ram not make your device fast. the perfectly matching processor speed . then board speed and ram speed.. give you very best performance.. only ram high but not other components speed make your system slow. so you need to see all perfect matching components

Normally, the random access memory is in the form of computer chips. Usually, the contents of RAM are accessible faster than other types of information storage .

memory (NVRAM) keeps its data without using power, which is more expensive but works slower, so it is used in smaller amounts.

It has two types. which are dynamic and static random access memory.

ram random access memory not only give our phone speed but also make it run apps more efficiently. but some time os and secondary storage also play a great vital role by allowing virtual memory which extended the ram virtually to fulfill ram requirements also os make better and great paging if information into ram. you may not know that iphone xs use 2gb of ram but runs more high graphic games more fluently than a 8 gb ram android
