Have you ever felt the need for setting a particular language for an app which is different from the default language of the device?

With One UI 5, you can set the language of your multilingual apps different from the system language.
For instance, multilingual users can set one system language - such as English, and select different languages - like Hindi, Chinese, or Dutch etc. - for specific apps.
There are 2 ways to set the desired language for an app.
1. Access through system settings
Settings > General Management > App languages > (Select app)
2. Access through app info
Long press an app > App info > Language
OR
Settings > Apps > (Choose an app) > App Info > Language
Wondering what is the need for different languages per app?
There can be a number of user-cases for the need to have certain apps in different languages:
- If system’s default language is set to English but you want to use social media in a different language
- To learn a new language – switching app languages will help you to use certain apps in new language while leaving your default system language as is
