We all know that as Samsung users our smartphone usage is heavily dependent on jugaads, hacks, and tricks to keep the smartphone running without issues. This ranges from frequent factory reset to network band selecting apps to researching whether an update is safe, etc. (Some of us, like many s20 plus users and Exynos 9611-based phones, are frequent visitors to service centers for issues ranging from display failures to motherboard failures)
Now, many of us using s20fe5g, A52s5g, etc in rural or remote areas have this issue of slow internet or low signals. Recently I found a "solution " for this. Whenever there is an issue with the internet connection, I go to settings - connections - mobile networks and change the Network mode from 5g/4g/3g or auto to the 2nd option which is 4g/3g/auto, and vice versa. This fixes the issue for me, at least for a couple of days. When it occurs again, I follow the same steps and switch it back to 5g mode.
I am not claiming that this will work for all, or even that this is a solution. All I am saying is that this works for me. I see a lot of frustrated s20fe5g users especially on this platform complaining about the internet issue. So, it won't hurt to try this for those of us who are struggling with internet speed or connection.
Nb: I don't know or care whether this is a well-known fix for this issue.😈
M12, I've tried that but the coverage isn't good in my area. In Airtel too I barely gets 2 signal bars in 3G/4G and 4 signal bars in 2G, while VI is completely out of coverage. Even for Redmi Note 10 Pro and Relame 14 5G (I forgot the exact model), Moto G51 5G the issue persists.
Even after doing this jugaad... I am getting barely 2-5 mbps. On the other hand my 5k priced nokia c01plus is also getting same speeds!! I didn't post that comparison because I know it will hurt a lot of fanboys like dissu boy, Nattu boy and brave tigerji.
