Hello Members!

Our community is a great place to discover new and innovative ideas for our devices and services. 

Innovation lab is a simple way for you to share your ideas directly with our teams.

In week 8 of #Innovationlab, we are requesting you to share your ideas for the following six themes:

1. Settings-Digital Wellbeing and parental controls
2. Settings-Device Care: Usability and request for improvements
3. Multi Windows: Usability, suggestions & improvement requests
4. Screenshot: Usability, suggestions & improvement requests
5. Tablets: Usability and request for improvements on its Applications & APS
6. Galaxy Store: Proposals on features and usability

As a Galaxy user, feel free to suggest any improvement, new feature or make a request which you feel will help us improve the devices.

All you need to do is :

• Create a post detailing your idea/suggestion
• Include illustrations/diagrams/images or any detail you feel will help us understand it better
• Include #InnovationLab in your post title/subject

We will go through all your suggestions to bring significant improvements. Week 8 topics will be open till 7th March. Week 9 topics will be announced later.

Screenshot-Palm swipe to capture is not necessary,double tap fingerprint sensor gesture should be added for taking screenshots or opening selected app easily.

Applock feature is also needed for galaxy devices.

if samsung provides health app ( which contains tips healthy food exercises and it's remainders) , To Do list ( just like diary and make home screen also changes images

1) IMPROVE RAM MANAGEMENT

iam S9 user out 4Gb ram only 1.5gb available without using any app.

2) PLEASE ADD PATTERN/BIOMETRIC even to SWITCH-OFF our MOBILE

when someone stole your handset first thing they do is SWITCH OFF, and take your SIM CARD out of our mobile. or they try open with random pin/patterns.
**(WHEN FAIL TO OPEN AFTER SEVERAL TIMES, TURN MOBILE AUTOMATICALLY INTO ULTRA POWER SAVING MODE, By this we can buy some more time to find, plz provide this feature if possible.)**

3)PROVIDE SIM CHANGE ALERTS.

After been stolen, when they change SIM you get TEXT MESSAGE from their SIM(number) including your IMEI number with TEXT that you entered. to your 5 CONTACTS that you choose.
**(SAMSUNG, IF YOU PLAN TO DO IT, PLASE INCLUDE GEO LOCATION ALSO IN THE TEXT MESSAGE)**

4)PLEASE PROVIDE PIN/BIOMETRIC EVEN TO SHARE YOUR FILES via Bluetooth/wifi etc.
Because if you give mobile to friend/someone, they can access your files and share, because there is no lock feature available to GALLERY, MY FILES

5)BRING IN BUILT APP LOCK FEATURE

yeah, we know there secure folder but it frustrating that WHY SHOULD I every time have move data into it, if its personal, INSTEAD IF GALLERY HAS LOCK IN 1ST PLACE.

6)PROVIDE FULL SCREEN CALLER ID,

present the caller ID photo apper in small circular shape when someone call, instead make it FULL SCREEN.

Bro this RAM management system is common in every device . If you get a phone with 12GB RAM then also near about your 6 GB RAM will be used without any background running apps .

yes bro I agree, but what I don't understand is if 6GB variant used 3GB ram, how come same model of 12GB variant uses 6GB ram for same software and same apps right out of the box.
