Our community is brimming with ideas through which we can make your Galaxy experience better! Share your suggestions directly with our teams through Innovation Lab. Your feedback will be scrutinized to produce possible improvements in customer experience.

This week, we would like to look into Accessibility. Samsung Galaxy phones come with accessibility settings to help those with limited sight or hearing difficulties. For example, you can make the phone read messages aloud or light up whenever it detects a startling noise. There are also accessibility settings and customizations available for those who struggle with interaction and dexterity.

So, the topics are:

 1. Accessibility: Feedback on experiences with accessibility features and suggestions.

All you need to do is:

    1. Create a post detailing your idea/suggestion
    2. Include illustrations/diagrams/images or any detail you feel will help us understand it better
    3. Include #InnovationLab in your post title/subject

We will take a note of all your suggestions! This topic will be open till 26th May.

Please cover Samsung Text to speech engine, Samsung Bixby, Samsung Voice search, Samsung Bixby vision app, Samsung Audio description, Samsung Spoken assistance, Samsung Hearing Enhancement and Samsung Boice access etc in different different Innovation Lab feedback instead off covering all at a same time.

Like you covered Samsung Mobile game, TV app and so on in seperate seperate Innovation Labs feedbacks.
Accessibility is a very vost area . It can not cover at a same time.

If Samsung genually want to take feedback about Accessibility from their users so please open Galaxy store and see Accessibility related apps like Samsung Talkback, Text to speech engine and its indian voices, Bixby and Bixby vision etc. See there 1 star ratings because 1 star rating giver always give the best feedbacks and that is verified by me. As Partially Blind and Accessibility user i found almost 90% ratings have truth.
Otherwise we as users do not think Samsung members app for giving our apps' feedbacks so we give our feedbacks in Galaxy store under app rating.

#innovationlab after one ui 5 update the triple tap magnification gesture became laggy in some areas like notification panel, while reading notifications with triple tap hold and app drawer i raised many complaints about this issue and still not fixed

innovation lab I. Requisition for new features and gestures
1 create a gesture or hard key reject to incoming call before receive
2 create gesture for status bar Example battery, time, signal. This
option is available in “Samsung voice assistant”
3 create option to restrict such unnecessary descriptions such as:
Screen status: [device unlocks, screen off, time] showing Samsung
keyboard, hide keyboard
ETC these information is not necessary always
4 create add Append copy feature which mean we will select text
without formatting to the clipboard. [partial text selecting feature,
Or discriminate selecting between texts]
5 create more accessible interface of phone application because we
have to swipe more than 3 times to call a number. Better you have to
resolve already available option such as swipe to Call or text
6 allow to create gesture for do not disturb like [sound mute
Vibrate], spell last spoken phrase and image description.
7 double tap with 2 fingers to answer and end call this gesture should
Work locked devise also, because we have to unlock always to end call
8 add Indian languages [Kannada and Hindi] to image description
9 allow to Google assistant to toggle talkback
10 add Indian Languages to Samsung TTS Like Kannada
11 create A proper platform to provide feedback about Accessibility
because we are not getting any proper answer through Samsung member
App
12 allow to join to Beta version for Talkback and Samsung TTS
13 create any permanent gesture to toggle Talkback, example: treble
pressing side key or power key
14 few Samsung Apps are not accessible like Samsung pay, shop, ETC
15 create A gesture to click non accessible buttons
now coming to issues
1 Read caller name is announcing only once if it repeats at least 3
Times very helpful to us and ringtone should be decrease while
Announcing name
2. I will go to quick settings by using Talkback gesture if I press
Back button it will come to notification area instead of this it has
to come to our previous focus.
3. We are not able to find out to which SIM “SIM 1/SIM 2” The
incoming and missed Call has come, this option is available in Google
phone
4 still it is not working smoothly
5 image description feature is not working properly
6 improve the navigation speed of talkback
7 while hiding screen through talkback menu it is always reading this
instruction "talkback accessibility service has hidden the screen, do
gesture down then right to open talkback menu , highlight show screen
then double tap" this instruction not necessary
8 while using Google assistant Talkback is interrupting for example:
if I ask what time is it? Talkback is repeating

Please give audio hearing feature to Samsung Smart Tutor app for Samsung agent who control our mobile when we face any issue in our Samsung talkback but agents can not help us untill and unless they can hear talkback sound.

Bionic Reading. Possible optimisations for one-eyed (haven't thought of it much, but I use some to keep my eyes rolling through the day - even accessibility shortcuts to launch TalkBack when my eye with vision is hurt!)
