Okay... Lemme see ... I use ES File Explorer ... So I get an option to save that document file(s) right away when I click to Share that document file(s). I can save in some folder (outside Android folder) and see it ... Btw, ES file explorer is not on Play Store. You can check if there are other file managers which do this.

That's the issue man, why should I use a third-party-app .. just to use ONE SIMPLE feature (which should be inbuilt)..!

Till now, I'm being forced to go-to "Android>media>com.whatsapp..." for such simple tasks..
Here are the traumatic experience I'm experiencing till date:
1. First go to that "Android>....>document"
2. Find out that particular file, I'm trying to Save (by copying/moving)
3. No thumbnail
4. If I click on any of the files.. to preview it.. it shows "You don't have any apps that can open this type of file..." (Screenshot attached)
5. So I use my luck and change the extension and HOPE the Extension matches and the file can be accessed. Most of the times Luck don't work.
Even the Google Files app can't open such files.
Changing extensions is the only option.. to get those files (if the luck work and if I find the right document file)

[I have more than 200 document files in that document folder 😂...]SmartSelect_20231229_122318_My Files_1000010452_1703832798.jpg

Yeah ... If Samsung's File Explorer had this function to save that document file it would be better. But the file manager app by Samsung is a very basic one imo. So you will need to have a third party File Manager.
.
See ... In these cases ES File Explorer works ... Without even changing the extension 😂Screenshot_20231229_123045_ES File Explorer.jpg

Yeah man..
Samsung has some kind of negligence towards the features that make the user experience.. good.

I have POCO F1 too, I have never felt that.. SAVING a file can be such lengthy. The File Manager app inbuilt in POCO F1 has this kind of features inbuilt.. it's like your ES FILE EXPLORER.
SAMSUNG IS FAR BEHIND IN SUCH CASES.. That make users life easier

Install Google Files app. This app will provide you an option to Save/Download the 'Document' (Which is in WhatsApp) .... & Saved/Downloaded 'Document' will be in 'DOWNLOAD' Folder 📂.

Install Google Files: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.nbu.files
