How samsung knox security works ?

Hello, I want to know how the samsung knox security works ?  Can It protect privacy ? Can it protect our devices like if a hacker wants to access our microphone to record or to spy us can the samsung knox protect it ?

Samsung Knox is like a encryption service for your device. For example, when you restart your device, phone doesn't allow entry to your device through biometrics. You have to enter your passcode or password to open the device. This is the way Knox decrypts your device after restart. Apart from this, Samsung Knox also protects digital payments on Samsung Pay, provides secure folder for extra sensitive data and provides encryption to your stored passwords in Samsung Pass.

Yes indeed. That's why, any sensitive data stored like passwords in Pass and Credit Card details in Pay, require authentication using your password or biometrics, to be accessed by you.

it's so confusing
though m series in general do not have this feature, these devices too have to be unlocked using pin after a reboot.
I think this is due to the so called remains of the feature in the complete version of one ui
Samsung could have removed these inconveniences for devices which they cannot offer Knox protection.

This 'Enter pin after you reboot' feature is present in almost all of android devices, knox security has nothing to do with this.

but you know I was able to do all spying activities like recent call log, dumping SMS, recording audio over microphone etc more stuff by using an 3rd party malicious apk...so there why knox didnt protected ?
