What is Health records feature?
Samsung Health's Health Records feature helps you to easily manage and access your health records anytime anywhere.
It also on-boards you to India Digital Health Platform – Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), and makes India health account i.e. Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA), facilities available to you.
Finding Health records on Samsung health home
Scroll down and locate Health records tracker on Samsung health home or check “Edit Tracker” in Options menu.
On-boarding to Health records
a. Register with Aadhaar – Use this option if on-boarding for very first time to ABDM. Unique 14-digit ABHA number created in this step.
b. Sign in to existing ABHA Account – Use this option to sign in to existing ABHA accounts. Use your mobile number or Aadhaar number for sign in.
c. Create new ABHA ID – Use this option if you are already having ABHA account but need to create new ABHA ID.
Adding Health Records
You can add existing heath records by two options:
a. Search for existing unlinked records with healthcare providers
- Search through ABDM compliant hospital list and select the healthcare facility you have visited earlier.
- Select “Check for records” button to get list of records not linked with your ABHA ID.
- Link these records to your ABHA ID on providing mobile number and OTP.
b. Upload copies of physical and digital records
- Upload and link existing health records following steps as shown below.
- Update document details for proper categorization of records.
View Health Records
Samsung Health records supports categorization of medical records into five categories – Immunizations, Lab results, Medications, Visits and Vitals.
Choose proper health record category during upload to avoid wrong display under these categories.
Get holistic view of any health record. You can choose name/date display.
Sharing Health records
a. ABDM Consent
You can make your health records available to doctors and hospitals on accepting consent request from them.
Edit Access period, Expiry, Healthcare providers and health records you want to share.
b. Export and share
You can export your categorized health data to share via WhatsApp or Email.
Select period, health categories and healthcare providers before sharing.
Other ABDM features
View, download and share your ABHA card details.
Reduce OPD wait time by getting queue token by scanning Providers’ QR code.
About ABDM and ABHA
ABDM provides unified health platform to connect various health care stakeholders, including patients, physicians, medical facilities, pharmacists, and insurers.
A unique 14 - digit Health Account number – Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) number gets created on registration. You can create multiple ABHA accounts linked to your ABHA number. It provides convenient, secure and user approved access to medical information.
User get all ABDM functionalities in Health records through third party Ekacare.
Users health records are stored at ABDM Certified Ekacare Health Lockers and is used for rendering all user data display in Samsung Health.
