Green Line Problem After One UI 7 Update

Several users have reported the green line issue on their Samsung Galaxy devices after installing the One UI 7 update. This has especially affected models like:

Galaxy S21 FE

Galaxy S22 Ultra

Galaxy S23 series

This issue appears to be hardware-related, possibly triggered by heat or stress during the update process. Users on Reddit and other forums have confirmed that the green line suddenly appeared after the update, even without any physical damage.

Samsung’s Free Screen Replacement Program

Samsung India has responded by launching or extending a free screen replacement program, which is currently valid until September 30, 2025.

Eligible Models (India only):

Galaxy S21 series

Galaxy S21 FE (SM-G990B/E)

Galaxy S22 Ultra

Note: The standard Galaxy S22 and S23 models are not officially included yet.

Conditions:

Phone must not be older than 3 years

No signs of physical or water damage

Original purchase invoice required

Green line must be visible on the screen

Also, some service centers may charge a labor fee, even if the screen panel itself is free.

You need to be very careful otherwise phone will be useless. Better read instructions 10 times before you start. Start only if you are confident enough

I am facing the same issue after updating. They shouldn't have given the update if their hardware can't run it properly
